GultarpGen      Comments

Gultarp is a place east of the town Helsingborg in Skåne in Sweden.  My grandfather is borne there, that’s why I am using the name. The word Gultarp means a place (arp) with something yellow (gul) like a house, flowers or similar.

In this data base is only registered harmless information like name and birthday. Photos are not displayed for living persons, unless the person has given permission to publish the photo. This is in accordance with the actual laws in e.g. Denmark and Sweden. If a person does not want to be registered in this data base, let me know, and the name will be removed.

To navigate in this data base one starts by writing a name in the box for Last name and/or First name. Alternatively one can click the line named Surnames, where one get a list of the most common last names.

Click on the tabs Ancestor and Descendents, and the tree for the individual is shown.

Under the tab Ancestor there are six alternatives: Standard, Compact, Box, Text, Ahnentafel and Media.

Under the tab Descendents there are four alternatives: Standard, Compact, Box, Text and Register.

Under the tab Relationship one can calculate the relationship between two persons, if they have a blood relation.

Documentation

As primary source for this data base, I have used notes from my grandmother. Most of the information about the Swedish families I have found by searching on the following sites: DDSS, Genline, Släktdata, Stockholms stadsarkiv the "Rotemansarkivet", SVAR, Tjörns släktforskare, Öckerööarnas Släktforskarförening

The information about the Danish families comes mainly from Arkivalieronline and DDD. Another important source is ”Slægtsbog för Julius Ingeman Damm og Ulriche Marie Pedersen”.

The following sites have been an important source for information and inspiration.

Studepranger Slægten Kjeldsen where Charlotte Kjeldsen has documented the Jens Kieldsen family.

Fredenslyst.dk where Lennart Frederiksen has documented the majority of “our” Damm family.

Foreningen Pierre Dornonville de la Cours Slægt where information of the de la Cour family is given. Links is included with each person.

Skeel, Holbek, Santasilia and Muckadell family-tree. This site has some names in common with the GultarpGen data base, but must be seen as a complement.

Flojborg.dk is a databas elaborated by the Fløjborg family. If you in GultarpGen find relation to Johan Gerhard Frederik Nyebølle (1855–1897), then you can continue the search from Gerhard Nyebølle in the Flojborg data base.

I can also refer to the home pages Rosklildehistorie and Kannegaard and Skeel Family Tree where you can find the name Helene Marie Gulstad, which is also found here on GultarpGen.
